PRESIDENT MUSHARRAF RESIGNS AFTER 9 YEARS

Pakistan's president, Pervez Musharraf, leaves office after 9 years. Since this system of astrology uses a 9-year cycle, his timing is perfect. He shares his 3 Wood Star - known as Thunder in the I Ching - with another military man, Stormin' Norman Schwarzkopf of Desert Storm fame. Both have the tough 9 Star combination of the 3 8 9 Stars.

This year Musharraf's Star moved to the West position, ruled by the trigram in the I Ching known as the Lake. It is symbolic of sunset, reflection and retirement. Totally appropriate.
